A guide has been developed in partnership with young people from the Youth Advisory Group at the Institute for Mental Health to help young people prepare to talk with their GP about self-harm and suicidal experiences.

The guide is informed by research evidence and guided by the insights, stories and narratives of the Youth Advisory Group members who were involved from beginning to end and contributed in a variety of ways.
